Welcome to Twin Commonwealth Publishers, LLC

After years of frustration at being able to obtain obscure or significant historical texts at reasonable prices, we have decided that it would be a great idea to reprint these materials and make them available to those who might share our historical research tastes.

Inside our catalogue you will find a number of books pertaining to The American Revolution, The American Civil War, and many other aspects of military life in the United States. We also are offering a number of historical texts focusing on Virginia, Kentucky (the twin commonwealths), Maryland and the Carolinas. Other areas of specialization include biographies of Daniel Boone, and several other historical figures. There are several books which relate to life in the colonial South. And well, you might just want to explore to see what we have to offer.

How it works. We take old texts, scan them, clean them up, create an index if the book warrants one. We then upload them to Lulu.com, a Print on Demand provider. When you select one of our titles, and make payment through Lulu’s secure server, a copy is printed, and mailed directly to you in a sturdy carton. The whole process takes about 10 days from order to receipt of your books. Each order is custom crafted at Lulu’s facilities in the United States.

So, Are you ready to see what we have? We have two catalogues, one organizing the books by geographic focus of the work, which we call our Geographic Catalogue. The second divides the same books by subject matter. This is our Subject Catalogue. We also have a section describing projects we have planned for the future, called Forthcoming Titles

We also would like to talk to you about your book projects. If you have a book in the works which fits well with what we do, we would like to include it among our offerings. Drop us a note describing your project, and what you expect, we will get back with you. Email Jeff Weaver at jweaver300@aol.com or Randall Osborne at rando149@mikrotec.com.
